Thou shalt not eat prawns

Did you know that, according to the Bible, it's a sin to eat shellfish? It's true - consider the wise words of Leviticus:

Leviticus 11:12: Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Even Deuteronomy agrees:

Deuteronomy 14:10: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

So with Christmas coming up, i thought all readers should keep that in mind. No prawns, mussels, squids, eels, seals, or plankton may be eaten. To avoid hell, just stick with the lamb.

What about tradition?! Every Christmas since I was a kid, the men of my family get out on a dugout canoe and hunt dugong. Luckily I can still go down on mermaids, they've got scales.

Love the Barnacle Bill picture.

Wow. I learnt something and wasn't bored. This is awesome news. And when is that Barnacle Bills logo going to take over the original it's much better. Good work all round.
